What are LIFEgroups? They are small groups of individuals who are committed to helping each other grow and develop their spiritual lives. Everyone works to accomplish this by building relationships, sharing their lives, providing encouragement, praying, and exploring how Biblical truth can be lived out in everyday life.
Where do they meet? In the home of one of the participants. Most groups rotate who will host each week.
When do they meet? Most of them meet on Sunday evenings from 6-8. However, a LIFEgroup can meet any time that all the participants can be present. Sunday evenings enables us to offer childcare, so that several groups can draw from that benefit at one time.
Where do I take my children? We are currently providing nursery for birth to 6 years. This is provided at the nursery at the church. The youth (grades 6-12) also meet on Sunday evenings. For grade school children, call the group leader for arrangements. What happens during a meeting?
Meetings usually begin with a meal and fellowship time where relationships develop.Following the meal is a time of Bible study, discussion and prayer.
How can I get involved? This brochure lists the LIFEgroups that are currently meeting. If you would like to give them a try, simply find a group that seems to fit you and give the leader listed there a call.
The MnG Group This group name stands for "maturing in grace" or "moaners and groaners" -depending on who you ask.
Really there's a whole lot more laughing and joking going on when they get together. One of our most fun groups, it is for our senior adults. Dick Lamberson is the leader and they meet on Thursdays at 12:00. For more information, call Dick at 227-1534.
The Morgan Group This group is a young to median adults group led by Glenn Morgan. They meet on Sunday evenings, 6:00 pm. For more information, call the church office. The Geoghagan Group This is a median adults group led by Dennis Geoghagan (don't you like our creative group names?). They meet on Sunday evenings, 6:00pm. For more information, call Dennis at 229-8785.
